Why not purchase gifts for the people in your family, whenever you feel the urge. This will show the members of your family how much you appreciate them, and how much you love them. I was engaged in a conversation with a man who came into my store to purchase something for his son and daughter. He asked me what sort of merchandise that we had for his son, when I asked him about what special occasion he was purchasing the item for. He just shrugged and told me that it was just a gift. When I talked to him further, Bosun whistle he told me that he liked to buy items for members of his family. They were not expensive purchases they were just gifts of appreciation.
For someone like myself who just bought gifts for special occasions this was a peculiar habit. Here was a man who just liked to purchase small items for his wife and two children. There did not have to be a birthday, a graduation, a Christmas or an anniversary, he just bought things when he felt the urge. He had walked into our collectibles store to pick up a couple of items for his kids.
He would often go into antique, second hand, Games and DVD stores to find gifts for his family. He would usually check a list to see what the person he was shopping for would be interested in. This list was usually made up from hobbies that they were interested in, as well as movies that they loved, or games that they played.
